At Livingston Dental Care, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you at the time of booking. A reminder SMS will be sent 2 business days prior to your appointment. Please read the text carefully and confirm your attendance by replying ‘Y’ on the day you receive it.

 

Cancellation Categories - Late arrivals - Failure to Attend - 
Last Minute, which is on the day

A missed or broken appointment sadly means a patient waiting patiently to be seen has missed an opportunity to see us, and a substantial cost to the Practice. Please advise us as soon as possible if you need to rearrange your appointment so that we can offer your appointment to someone in need of dental care. Late arrival, failure to attend, cancelling or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice may attract a cancellation fee. We understand that significant emergencies do arise unexpectedly so this fee will be applied at the discretion of management.   

 

Patients whom repetitively arrive late (more than 5 minutes), have repeated last minute cancellations or failure to attend, will be asked to pre-pay their next appointment in full, which becomes non refundable.    

 

We reserve the right to request patients who continually fail to attend, cancel appointments at short notice or consistently arrive late, to source another dental provider.

Longer Appointments

Appointments 2 hours and over will require a partial payment of their treatment plan to secure their long appointment. 

 

Our Promise

We will always dedicate our time and resources to endeavour to respect your scheduled appointment. Should there be any need to change it (such as emergencies on our end), our team will contact you as soon as possible and arrange another suitable time/date. 

 

We do not take rescheduling appointments lightly and will be very aware of respecting your time.
